    Day4 Energy Inc. has commenced the construction of a turnkey 725 kW ground-mounted photovoltaic power plant for Kreissparkasse Rottweil, a local savings bank in Germany.

    The company says it has already completed the design and engineering, and has begun construction of the PV power plant. Once completed, the plant - which will be 100% owned by the bank - is expected to include approximately 3,920 48MC Day4 modules.

    Day4 has been awarded a complete maintenance and operation contract following completion of the project, which is located adjacent to Day4's German headquarters. The energy produced at this solar plant will be sold to the local grid provider under the German feed-in-tariff law.
